My Top Protein Shake Recipes

I hope y’all enjoy these protein shake recipes as much as I do! They’ve definitely been helping me feel fuller on my weight-loss journey. I especially love that these recipes help satisfy my sweet tooth!

These are my current favorite protein shake recipes. They’re super simple to make and very affordable. You can even pre-blend these the night before, then throw in the blender in the morning to save time. You’re welcome, mamas.

Oh! And the best part? They taste so good, you won’t even know they’re good for you. Whether you’re trying to lose weight in the new year or just make healthier choices, these protein shakes are a healthy, tasty alternative to junk-food snacking or that quick drive-thru trip that you swear will only happen once.

These protein shake recipes are packed with natural plant protein and fiber to satisfy cravings and help keep you fuller longer. I can’t even explain how good I feel starting out my mornings with one of these. Totally sets the stage for how well my sad, tired mom bod is gonna function for the day.

Without further ado (fancy talk for let’s get crackin’), here’s to more energy to chase your toddler who refuses to wear pants to church! 🥂

Frozen Mocha

My favorite alternative to a cup of coffee, by far. Here’s what you’ll need:

• 1 cup cold coffee

• 1 scoop Espira Rich Chocolate protein powder

• 1 tsp pure cocoa powder

• 1 cup ice

• 1/4 tsp cinnamon

• 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk

I chose the Espira protein powder because it’s a low carb plant protein. Only 4g of carbs and soy/dairy free. Pour almond milk and cold coffee in the blender. Add the other stuff. Blend. Enjoy!

Blueberry Banana

Protein, potassium, antioxidants, oh my!

Here’s what you’ll need:

• A banana (preferably frozen)

• 1 cup frozen blueberries

• 1 cup unsweetened almond milk

• 1 scoop Espira Creamy Vanilla protein powder

Pour almond milk in the blender. Add the rest of the ingredients. Blend it, blend it!

Power Greens

This one is a powerhouse of veggies, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants because of the addition of the Espira Power Greens! The benefits are like adding the ULTIMATE salad to your shake or smoothie. It’s great for digestion, because it’s packed with over 6g of fiber. Perfect shake for the 87% of adults who aren’t getting their daily value of veggies.

Here’s what you’ll need:

• 1 large green apple

• 1 cup ice

• 1 cup unsweetened almond milk

• 1 scoop Espira Creamy Vanilla protein powder

• 1 scoop Espira Power Greens

• 1 tsp lemon juice

Pour almond milk in the blender. Peel, core, and slice your apple. Add it to the blender. Drop in the remaining ingredients. And…you guessed it – BLEND!

PB + Chocolate

Last, but absolutely not least! This one tastes like Reese’s Puff cereal. And if you love the peanut butter and chocolate combo, this protein-packed shake will feel like a treat but keep you so full!

Here’s what you’ll need:

• 2 tbsp creamy peanut butter

• 1 cup unsweetened almond milk

• 1 scoop Espira Rich Chocolate protein powder

• 1 tsp pure cocoa powder

• 1 cup ice

Pour almond milk in the blender. Add cocoa powder and protein powder. Scoop in the peanut butter. Blend a little bit. Add ice, then blend to the end!
